Talbot Gateway Central Business District (CBD) is located in the north of the town, centred in the area around Blackpool North Train Station.

The completed 25-acre scheme provides new retail, commercial, and community space for Blackpool, in addition to town centre parking and transport.
Completed development includes:
  • A new public square
  • 125,000 sq ft Grade A civic offices
  • 120,000 sq ft Sainsbury’s Foodstore
  • 35,000 sq ft retail and leisure space
  • Multi-storey car park

A new Sainsburys Foodstore completed in summer 2014 and comprises approximately 120,000 sq ft including 60,000 sq ft of sales space. In addition there are 600 car spaces.

This exciting new store has created a total of 350 new jobs for the local community.

A 126,000 sq ft five storey BREEAM Excellent office building which completed in April 2014. Blackpool Borough Council have relocated to occupy the majority of the building with the 1st floor available to let to office occupiers seeking 7,000 – 21,592 sq ft.

Four ground floor retail units are available from 1,061 – 2,691 sq ft.

Refurbishment of a 1930’s car park has completed which now provides 648 car spaces in a modern, safe and accessible environment. The car park has recently won “British Parking Award for Best Refurbishment”.
