A 125,000 sqft BREAAM Excellent office building, One Bickerstaffe Square is a new headquarters for Blackpool Council, bringing over 700 members of staff under one roof as the first development for the Talbot Gateway. A 22,000 sq ft first floor office space is also currently under offer within One Bickerstaffe Square while five ground floor commercial spaces are fully let as a range of retail and education uses.

A 125,000 sqft BREAAM Excellent office building, One Bickerstaffe Square is a new headquarters for Blackpool Council, bringing over 700 members of staff under one roof as the first development for the Talbot Gateway.

A 22,000 sq ft first floor office space is also currently under offer within One Bickerstaffe Square while five ground floor commercial spaces are fully let as a range of retail and education uses.
Once the first multi-storey car park in Great Britain, it was recently developed in 2014. Now a 650 space car park across five levels, including electric vehicle charging, the car park also provides weekly, monthly and corporate permits. 25,000 sq ft of ground floor units are fully let to The Gym Group and Mr Basrai’s World Cuisine.

Talbot Road Multi-Storey Car Park

Once the first multi-storey car park in Great Britain, it was recently developed in 2014. Now a 650 space car park across five levels, including electric vehicle charging, the car park also provides weekly, monthly and corporate permits.

Parking is available across two levels above the store, with a petrol station opposite.

A 120.000 sq ft fully glazed supermarket in the heart of the Talbot Gateway provides a striking entrance for visitors to the area, as well as offering a major town centre superstore.

In addition to the 58,000 sqft of retail space, the store also offers Argos Click and Collect, Tu clothing range, in store bakery, hot food and pizza counter. Parking is available across two levels above the store, with a petrol station opposite.
A 144 bedroom Holiday Inn hotel opened in 2024 with a Marco Pierre White New York Italian Restaurant. The hotel boasts a separate Platform 9 Bar and Lounge, Starbucks coffee and 24-hour fitness suite, as well as a surface car park behind.

A 144 bedroom Holiday Inn hotel opened in 2024 with a Marco Pierre White New York Italian Restaurant. The hotel boasts a separate Platform 9 Bar and Lounge, Starbucks coffee and 24-hour fitness suite, as well as a surface car park behind.
An extended tram line connecting Blackpool Promenade up with Blackpool North train station, offering routes to attractions such as The Blackpool Tower, Pleasure Beach Resort, Sandcastle Waterpark and North, Central and South piers, as well as connecting to nearby towns Bispham, Cleveleys and Fleetwood. A 215,000 sq ft, seven storey office building for the UK Government. The Civil Service Hub is the tallest office building in Blackpool, and will host over 3,000 civil servants when it opens in 2025. The building has been designed to BREEAM ‘Excellent’ standard, incorporating sustainable office design, construction and operation, with the building’s carbon footprint reduced through terracotta façade panels, consumption led mechanical and electrical services and air source heat pumps. The office also includes a large reception lobby, as well as cycle storage, showers and changing facilities.

A 215,000 sq ft, seven storey office building for the UK Government. The Civil Service Hub is the tallest office building in Blackpool, and will host over 3,000 civil servants when it opens in 2025.

The building has been designed to BREEAM ‘Excellent’ standard, incorporating sustainable office design, construction and operation, with the building’s carbon footprint reduced through terracotta façade panels, consumption led mechanical and electrical services and air source heat pumps. The office also includes a large reception lobby, as well as cycle storage, showers and changing facilities.

The multiversity will deliver multiple levels of qualifications, including further education, higher education and lifelong learning across 70 courses, bringing up to 3,000 students and staff into the town centre. The plans could deliver up to 32,600 sq m of education and commercial space across several phases, starting with the new multiversity building. Outline planning consent was granted in 2024, with the land currently being assembled.
