Future Talbot Gateway developments are expected to come forward in the near future.

Development Plot 2B

This 0.5 acre plot sits adjacent to a new 4* Holiday Inn hotel and Marco Pierre White restaurant, and also surrounds a new tram stop connecting Blackpool North train station to Blackpool Promenade. It also includes a wide underpass to walk through to the train station and a range of retail units around the tram stop.

In the surrounding area, the site is opposite a civic square, food superstore and 24-hour gym, as well as the Multiversity education campus and Civil Service Hub office building.

The land is held on a freehold basis by Blackpool Council and is temporarily used as a surface car park. Tenure of long leasehold to be discussed.

Any development would need full planning permission, but the site would suit office and residential uses.

This 0.5 acre plots sits opposite the planned Multiversity campus, and next to a £100m Civil Service Hub office for the UK Government. It also sits next to a planned 700 space multi-storey car park, and a small business co-working space.

In the surrounding area the site is near a pedestrianised civic square, as well as being near a food superstore and 24-hour gym. The plot is five minutes’ walk from Blackpool town centre and main shopping centre.

The land is currently being acquired by Blackpool Council through negotiation to support a future development. Tenure of long leasehold to be discussed. Any development would need full planning permission, but the site would suit office and residential uses.

Opportunities for retailers are throughout the Talbot Gateway. Retail units are available now around Blackpool North tram stop, while larger retail availability will become available in the near future.
